Managing members and donors without a spreadsheet
A CRM gathers members, donors and volunteers in one up-to-date base. The program helps you choose one and set it up, as at-cost consulting.
Members, donors, volunteers: one list, kept up to date
Most associations keep their contacts in three places: a spreadsheet for members, a mailbox for donors, a messaging group for volunteers. A CRM (relationship management) gathers all of it in one base that several people keep up to date, with the history of each contact.
It is not an IT project, it is an organisation project: who enters the data, who may see it, what you want to know in a year. The program helps you with these questions first.

What the program does today
Kern4Good does not sell a CRM. We help associations choose an existing tool, open or affordable, and set it up properly: data structure, import, GDPR rules, training. This help goes through at-cost consulting, on quote.
When a cohort gathers several associations with the same need, we pool the scoping work and the training, as we do for websites.
Frequently asked questions
Which CRM do you recommend?
The one your team will keep up to date. For a small association a simple tool linked to the website is often enough; for a structure with regular donations a dedicated non-profit CRM makes sense. We compare two or three options with you before choosing.
Is it GDPR compliant?
A well-configured CRM helps you comply with the GDPR: consents recorded, retention periods, limited access. We set these rules with you at the start; they are easier to keep than a shared spreadsheet.
Can the CRM be linked to our website?
Yes, and it is the most useful case: the membership or donation form on the website feeds the base without retyping. We plan it when the website and the CRM are designed together.
Want a clear view of your contacts?
Let's talk about how you are organised today. We propose a short scoping, at cost, before any tool is chosen.
